Clear rules on packs save arguments. Put them in writing and keep them short.
Rules we use
A 5-class pack lasts 3 months, a 10-class pack 6 months
Passes are not shared and not refundable, but can be paused for illness
Monthly unlimited renews on the first of the month
A late cancel under 12 hours uses a class
Handling exceptions
The studio manager can extend a pass once for a documented reason. Note it on the student record.
Teachers are paid per class plus a small bonus for attendance. Keep the schedule steady.
Each month
Publish next month schedule by the 20th.
Tally classes taught on the Class bookings board.
Pay on the 5th and send a short summary.
Subs
If a teacher cannot teach, they find a substitute from the approved list and tell the manager. Update the booking with the new teacher.
The room should feel calm when the first student walks in.
Opening
Lights, heat or cooling and music set.
Mats wiped and aligned, props stocked.
Sign-in sheet or tablet ready.
Closing
Mats cleaned and stacked.
Laundry started.
Cash drawer counted.
Doors locked and alarm set.
