The best time to book the next visit is before the client leaves the chair.
Steps
Offer the next appointment at the end of every service.
Write the date on the appointment card and enter it right away.
Send a reminder two days before.
If the client declines, add a follow-up in six weeks.
Waiting list
Keep a short list of clients who want any cancellation. Call them first when a slot opens.
A recorded formula is the difference between a match and a mistake.
Steps
Write the brand, shade, developer and ratio on the appointment note.
Note processing time and the result.
Take a photo with the client permission.
Patch tests
Always do a patch test for new color clients or any new product. Record the date and result.
Retail is high-margin. Keep it tidy and counted.
Weekly
Count the shelf every Monday.
Reorder anything near empty.
Move slow items to the front.
Closing
Tools sanitized.
Towels in the wash.
Till counted and the book updated for tomorrow.
