Room cleaned and passed inspection
Welcome note, towels and amenities in place
Requests read: allergies, dietary needs, occasions
Arrival time confirmed by message
At check-in
Greet by name and confirm the stay dates.
Explain breakfast, parking, quiet hours and the Wi-Fi.
Press Check in guest on the reservation.
At check-out
Ask about the stay and thank them.
Press Check out guest, then create a cleaning job for the room.
The first and last five minutes decide the review.
Turnover order
Strip linens and open windows.
Dust high to low and wipe all surfaces.
Clean the bathroom top to bottom; polish fixtures.
Make the bed with fresh linens and fold towels.
Vacuum or mop and check under beds.
Final walk-through with the checklist.
Inspection
A second person checks each turnover before the room is marked Ready.
Anything broken becomes a repair row, not a note on a paper.
Rhythm
Do stay-over service by midday; leave a card with the option to skip it.
Weekly
Walk the building with the Repairs view open.
Check smoke and carbon monoxide alarms; test hot water in one room per day.
Seasonal
Reporting
Any repair that affects safety goes to Urgent and the room is set to Out of service until it is fixed.
The evening before
Read tomorrow's reservations for dietary needs and arrival times.
Prepare the breakfast prep list with counts.
In the morning
Check allergies against the menu before service.
Serve on time; offer a take-away option for early departures.
Log guest feedback in the reservation.
Special requests
Write down every request in the reservation, and tick it off once it is done. Surprises are best when they are planned.
